Each client will receive an initial consultation to determine if their pet has any physical problems such as arthritis, siezures, ear infections, skin ailments, difficulty hearing or seeing.  We also will discuss any behavioral issues such as fear biting, feet anxiety, separation anxiety, aggression towards other animals or people.  We will also be able to let you know if we find any problems during the grooming process when your pet is picked up.

We use only hypoallergenic shampoos and conditioners.  Each pet is bathed in a shampoo that has been chosen for there individual needs.  We will determine if your pet has dry skin, oily coat, shedding, or just plain dirty.  All pets are given a massage during their bath to stimulate skin and to promote healthy shedding, anal glands are expressed and ears are cleaned. If you are interested in a shedless treatment, a special shampoo & conditioner will be applied.  After the bath, dogs are blown out to remove excess water and loose hair before they are towel dryed and placed in our temprature controlled drying cage to finish drying. Cats are towell dryed and wrapped up in a large towel to remove as much moisture as possible before being placed in the drying cage. Gently heated air recirculates around and under the freshly bathed dogs or cats while they relax.

Temperature control adds a safety factor far beyond other hands-off drying setups. The air temperature is regulated and uniform within the compartment - there are no hot spots. Furthermore, the operator judges what temperature is appropriate for the animal inside, and sets the exact temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. Setting "fan only" dries without any heat at all. The unit can be set to count down and turn itself off. The animals inside, then wait to be checked for dryness by the groomer.

After your pet has been bathed and dryed, they are brought to the grooming table where they are brushed out and nails are trimmed.  We will then give them their breed specific trim or a custom cut according to your instructions.

Nail trimming is included in all full service grooming.  We also offer walk in nail trimminigs for just $5.00.
